Best Scrapbooking ideas on a budget

Scrapbooking has become hugely popular in the last few years, and it is an excellent way not only to pass the time, but to be creative and express yourself, while showcasing your pictures and memories.

Unfortunately, it has also become very expensive, but if you don't have a lot of funds to put into it, you can come up with some pretty innovative ideas that don't cost a lot.

I have used newspaper instead of scrapbooking paper to put my pictures on. As long as you use a piece of newspaper that is fun to read, such as comics or even ads, you can put your pics on there and it looks pretty cool.

Wrapping paper is another neat idea. We all have wrapping paper laying around, so put your christmas pictures on christmas paper, or your birthday pics on birthday paper, and you can't go wrong.

Using stickers from the dollar store, or cutting pics out of magazines or books, can help with the decorating. Most experienced scrapbookers use stamps and stencils that can be very expensive, but stickers work just as well.

If you have ribbon or yarn, you can use it to border your pics, or decorate your page. If you can draw or paint, or you like to doodle, do it. Use your imagination and your scrapbook will be fun and amazing.
